Meaghan moved out to the East End of Long Island in 2004 to restore some balance into her busy lifestyle. Although she had been practicing Yoga since she was a teenager, it wasn’t until she started practicing at Peconic River Yoga with Kate Alesio that her love of Yoga deepened to another level and she embraced Yoga as a way of life. Enjoying the active sequences of asanas to melting into Savasana at the end of class, she found the balance she was seeking and was able to integrate this balance into her life. Passionate about Yoga’s mental, physical, and spiritual benefits, she wanted to share her love of Yoga with others. Meaghan is a 200-RYT with the Yoga Alliance and is Reiki level I & II certified. A firm believer in the healing arts, she emphasizes the healing power of breath, proper alignment, and positive intentions throughout her classes. Meaghan creates an uplifting, welcoming, and peaceful atmosphere to inspire, generate insight, and reflect.
