Amy Toscano   Yoga was introduced to Amy during her years in College while studying Photography. After receiving her BFA in Photography, Yoga became a huge healing aide while going through an emotionally challenging chapter in her life. Having a desire to spread the benefits of Yoga to others, she studied and received her RYT-200 at A Jewel In The Lotus in Islip, NY in June 2016. During her off weekends while training, she received her Reiki Level 1, 2, and 3 Certification. Teaching Yoga has really changed and opened up her life. She is always eager to learn and considers herself a lifelong Yoga Practitioner.

Ina Pollifrone-Visich   New yoga teacher RYT 200 and local entrepreneur, who opened Solntse Hot Yoga studio in Wading River because she fell in love with yoga several years ago and wanted to show that love to people in the community, which lacked a local studio. In the studios, besides usually scheduled classes, Ina offers free monthly meditation sessions and other workshops to help educate the community on how beneficial practicing yoga is to ones' physical and emotional health. By opening the studio Ina was hoping to help a lot of people to overcome health issues and live better and healthier lives by integrating yoga into their everyday routines. Two years later Ina has expanded her business to Downtown Riverhead to better accommodate customers traveling from the east of the North and South Forks.  As a beginner yogi herself, Ina focuses her classes on sharing important knowledge about all the limbs of yoga rather than just the physical Asana practice, including pranayama and mudra exercises. Her classes are very well balanced and designed to work on all of the areas of the physical and emotional body.

Jennifer Brown   Jennifer’s love for barre and yoga fully blossomed while she was a student at Solntse Hot Yoga. After observing changes in herself, both physically and mentally her interest was peaked. These changes inspired her to take her training to the next level. She is currently trained through aboveBarre and Booty Barre. She will begin her 200 hour yoga training in the New Year. Her yoga journey has just began and she’s full of ideas and aspirations. Allie works at a mental health agency and is pursuing an MHS concentrated on Integrative Health and Wellness to help further her knowledge and career. She's so thankful to be a part of the team!

Meaghan Maguire

Meaghan Maguire

Meaghan moved out to the East End of Long Island in 2004 to restore some balance into her busy lifestyle. Although she had been practicing Yoga since she was a teenager, it wasn’t until she started practicing at Peconic River Yoga with Kate Alesio that her love of Yoga deepened to another level and she embraced Yoga as a way of life. Enjoying the active sequences of asanas to melting into Savasana at the end of class, she found the balance she was seeking and was able to integrate this balance into her life. Passionate about Yoga’s mental, physical, and spiritual benefits, she wanted to share her love of Yoga with others. Meaghan is a 200-RYT with the Yoga Alliance and is Reiki level I & II certified. A firm believer in the healing arts, she emphasizes the healing power of breath, proper alignment, and positive intentions throughout her classes. Meaghan creates an uplifting, welcoming, and peaceful atmosphere to inspire, generate insight, and reflect.
